It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it’s installed, the process of emptying the bin is simple. It also comes with a large LCD display which is great to have when you’re setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn’t a necessity for everyone, but it’s one that can aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that’s impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it’s also expensive.

It’s a tiny base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station’s main selling factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It’s the only robovac that I’ve tested that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It’s also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It also can’t climb stairs like other models and isn’t equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do everything.

However, if you’re looking to save some cash, or just don’t care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other great choices available which include a variety of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It’s easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect it to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be placed near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The primary aspect that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans.
